Description: Burn Studios has brought together two of the world’s most exciting music labels representing two classic eras in electronic music, Casablanca and Gomma, to resurrectdancefloor classicsin a unique homage project titled “Casablanca Reworks”. Featuring electronic luminary Peaches on vocals,“Casablanca Reworks”is afour-track EP of adaptations from the Casablanca Records vault – the legendary label whose music, with the likes of Donna Summer, defined the 80s electronic music scene. Peaches hasworked alongsidesome of today’s hottest music talent at Gomma including Telonius, Munk and The Phenomenal Handclap Band to remaster Casablanca treasures “Maniac”,“Our Love”, “You Can’t Run From My Love” and “Walk The Night”. “Casablanca Reworks” is available from Friday, 13th January. Remix contest For this huge project Gomma made a cooperation with their friends at Burn Studios / Audiotool. The great online music production tool. They had a great idea with developing the free online music producers community. Audiotool will get the stems of all 4 tracks in January for 6 weeks. All the kids in the Audiotool community will have the chance to create their own remixes. Gomma will release the best remixes with a subsequent Remix EP.
