Be exceptional but cater masses. Stay original but maintain a slight hypnosis of monotony. Put out in front but never lose sight of the old school. Namely following these aspirations, DJ Uncle Roll (real name Roland Simkus) was able to develop his unique style in which underground house currents wash techno basement, swamping the dance floor with emotional, energy saturated tech house rhythms.

Since the interest in electronic dance music five years ago, in Klaipeda city living Roland's career curve extended in fractures, which now have reached a point where he became not only a resident of a nightclub 'Kiwi' but also a music creator.

Excited by adolescent passion of interest, Uncle Roll for the first time looked at music when in 2005, together with like-minded partners, set up an online radio station 'Organzza', promoting electronic dance music.

However, because Roland couldn't fit in the digital space, in the same year he and his colleagues Sat and Yakoff have gathered the 'Deep Frequency' command and in the symbol of Klaipeda, on board 'Meridianas' held the first party. Then Uncle Roll for the first time tasted the bread of a party DJ and he finally ignited with desire to thrill the dance-floors.

'Deep Frequency' began performing not only as a guest but also as a host of parties all over Lithuania. During them, Uncle Roll had to play in various locations from large raves in Siauliai factories and festivals in Kaunas to clubs in seaport or capital and cozy gatherings in mid-week.

During his DJ career, Uncle Roll had to share the desk and invite guests to events from abroad such as Shlomi Aber (Cocoon / ovum, Israel) Robert Babicz (Systematic / Kompakt, Germany), Anthony Pappa (Redlight District,Great Britain), Luke Dzierzek (Clubclass, Great Britain), Jimmy Hill (ViVA music, Great Britain), Emma (Nitelist Music, Tokyo), Jimmy Van M (Bedrock, Great Britain), Chloe Harris (Bedrock, UK), Add2Basket ( Alternative Route, Hungary).

In the year 2008, he remembered the good days and began to conduct his own copyright show 'Craft Knot' in internet radio station 'Proton Radio', where still presents his own and various Baltic DJ mixes.

In the same year the first creative actions began, which had a result - teamwork with colleague Martynas M from Kaunas called 'Eureka', which was released under the 'Proton Music' record publishing flag. The composition is pleased to be played by such grands as Hernan Cattaneo, Jimmy Van M, Sam Ball, Stu Hirst, Chlore Harris, Jimmy Hill, Luke Dzierzek, Tom Morgan and many others.

The year of 2009 for just 23 years old DJ seems to be extremely successful: his talent to move the disco floor subtly and tastefully was noticed and Uncle Roll received an invitation to become a resident in a new night club 'Kiwi' in Klaipeda , where during the only a few months taking season he had to warm-up rising dance music stars James Talk, Alan Fitzpatrick and house music pioneer Phonique.

In addition, taking over the electronic music creation tools into his own hands, he already has serious proposals and in the near future his works 'Pepe' and 'Hola' should be released in the digital and vinyl format by 'Breakout Audio Recordings' record label. In these works he develops his DJ guidelines and weaves house minimal techno stylistics while easy cutting vocal samples.
