About: TMX is undoubtedly the hottest dj in Hungary: his calendar is insanely jammed with club and festival gigs, and wherever he plays, there are rows of girls screaming his name. Admittely, his good looks have booted his recognition, appearing in various fashion publications, leading a German magazine to name him „the sexiest dj in Eastern Europe”. But it’s not just his obvious sex appeal that makes him wildly popular, it’s also the music he plays and how he plays it. He’s an electronic dance music fanatic with a no sticking to any one genre policy. Currently he’s mixing up the best of forward-looking house, electro and nu-disco, spiced up with his own unique mashups, effortlessly beating any dancefloor into an absolute frenzy. His sets are banging but smart and sexy at the same time, and always fun, an essential element that comes from his easy going personality. His outstanding djing skills have not gone unnoticed: in 2010 he was voted as one of the top10 djs in Hungary by two major music sites respectively. He’s played at every notable club and festival (including Sziget and Balaton Sound) in Hungary, and he’s shared the bill with many of the biggest international names including 2ManyDJs, Alex Metric, Busy P, Crookers, Don Rimini, Fake Blood, Feadz, The Bloody Beetroots, Yuksek and many more. He’s also found success djing abroad, from Prague to Berlin. But internationally, he scored even higher marks with his music. Making tracks is his second passion, driven by the principles of producing on a high level of quality and originality. These self-imposed rules have paid off very well in the form of releases on a variety of European and US labels, and dj support by the likes of Tommie Sunshine, Larry Tee, Hostage. His remixes and own tracks have also received regular play on one of the world’s most influential radio station, UK’s BBC Radio 1, on both Annie Mac’s and Kissy Sell Out’s show. With Kissy Sell Out there’s also a longer history that dates back to the sping of 2007, when TMX and his dj/ promoter crew Kollektiva invited the British dj phenomenon to play at their club night in Budapest. This event practically kick-started the professional career of TMX, who soon became one of the key figures in pushing Hungary’s party scene to the next level, a position he’s now holding stronger than ever.
