The next LES PETITS PILOUS EP called Drop It is soon to be released via BNR TRAX (May 15th) and burn studios is giving you the chance to remix a track from it.

On May 15th, 3 remixes will be handpicked by Les Petits Pilous & burn studios. The winning tracks will then be announced in May on the Sound Pellegrino Podcast and become available online through burn studios.

From there, each remix will be "likeable" via a Facebook 'LIKE' button, until Tuesday May 29th, 12pm more…

We recieved well over a thousand submissions for the residency DJ contest, which saw up-and-coming DJs compose 15-20 minute mixes for the chance to win a 2 month residency at Ibiza's best clubs. After much deliberation, the submissions have been dwindled down to a select few. These DJs will go on to compete in the next round of the residency competition at live mix off events.

The mix off events will be held across Europe and presided over by leading members of the inudstry.

JORDAN is the great winner of High Powered Boys - The Machine RMX contest. With his smooth interpretation of the Surkin & Bobmo's track, he won a VIP trip to Grenoble to attend the first Chuicho Party at bar MC2, where Das Glow, Surkin, Bobmo and Para One will each perform live sets.

Alongside the Casablanca Reworks Remix Contest open the public, we ran the same competition for established DJs. Europe’s best DJs took The Phenomenal Handclap Band’s rework of ‘Walk The Night’ and remixed it for the chance to appear on the Casablanca Reworks EP out on Gomma.

We can now announce that the winner of this competition is DJ Gojira.

After a long deliberation process we can finally announce that the winner of the Casablanca Reworks Remix Contest is Peez Daws' mix of 'Walk the Night'

Peez Daws' seamless blending of light and shade, deep basslines and string arrangements, clever build ups and an overall tonality that is just, well, first class made the remix impossible to pass up.

This summer, burn studios is looking for aspiring DJs to become residents at some of the finest clubs in Europe. The winning DJs will rub shoulders with the who's who of Ibiza's music scene at the International Music Summit as well as attending the burn studios residency bootcamp where they will partake in workshops run by the most respected names in the industry including Sasha, Luciano, Jamie Jones and 2 Many DJs.
