We’re proud to announce three more additions to burn studios Ambassadors collective. Meaning, these DJs are definitely the ones to look out for.

DJ: Vinny Villbass

Vinny Villbass has been a Norwegian club DJ for 12 years with a focus on percussive and disco oriented house music. In addition to having an MA in acoustics, Håkon “Villbass” Vinnogg has been featured on Norwegian national radio—being the third wheel of the legendary Sunkissed Nights in Oslo—and more…

No fooling around this April. The burn Studios Top 10 features some seriously tasty electronica. This month, French house producer Equilateral opens the mix with his bass-driven and highly addictive track, ‘Groove Baby’. Not to be outdone, Russian DJ Krestovsky contributes depth of colour to this month’s selection with the track ‘Climber’.

We should also note the appearance of Peezdaws in the April Top 10. The duo’s remix of ‘Walk The Night’ was more…

After a long deliberation process we can finally announce that the winner of the Casablanca Reworks Remix Contest is Peez Daws' mix of 'Walk the Night'

Peez Daws' seamless blending of light and shade, deep basslines and string arrangements, clever build ups and an overall tonality that is just, well, first class made the remix impossible to pass up.

While we received a number of quality submissions, the contrasting textures of the mix stood-out amongst all others.

The remix will now more…

This summer, burn studios is looking for aspiring DJs to become residents at some of the finest clubs in Europe. The winning DJs will rub shoulders with the who's who of Ibiza's music scene at the International Music Summit as well as attending the burn studios residency bootcamp where they will partake in workshops run by the most respected names in the industry including Sasha, Luciano, Jamie Jones and 2 Many DJs.

The island will then become home to three DJs as burn studios more…

After a grueling selection process which saw a lot of ties and personal favorites across multiple genres, one track seemed to end up on everyone’s list and we are proud to announce that the winner of the Chrysta Bell Remix Contest, FunkFingers' 'The Truth Is (I Banged My Head And Now The Room Spins My Fear mix)'.

An exercise in restraint, FunkFingers has stripped back the more upbeat elements of Chrysta Bell's original, to create a remix that is ambient, haunting more…

Taking on tracks from the Casablanca Records catalogue, burn Studios and Gomma Records have reworked some of the finest disco of the 70s. Moullinex, Munk, Telonius, and The Phenomenal Handclap Band each collaborated with Peaches on the project to produce an EP that is both a re-imagining of dancefloor classics and a tribute to the legendary label, Casablanca Records. After playing the reworks live in Warsaw, Peaches revealed what it was that first drew her to the project.

An excellent nu disco piece is surfacing here done by Burn Studios pro, Andrew Clarke from the UK. His Soundcloud profile tells that he is not new to the music industry as he had been collecting records and playing out during the '90s and after a brief stop, has started all over again, now with trying his skills in production too. Have a listen yourselves! Definitely a BS office favourite of the week! Do you think there's plenty of balearic tone hiding out in this tune?

Hungarian Burn Studios pro, Metha has just uploaded his new remix for The Sloppy 5th due to be out sometimes in the first quarter of the year on Diablo Loco Records. Do you like his tech funk?

Happy new year dear Burn Studios listeners! We have cheerfully arrived to 2012, but first let's see the editorial top picks of the last month! In the meantime, the Chrysta Bell remix contest is nicely doing rounds around the globe and new tracks have started to arrive into our system. You'll see one great example from the magnificent Klaus Schulze and one other at the end of this chart too, but you should give it a go finding your fave amongst all the other remixes here.

Anyway, let's see more…

Here's our chart for November which includes the 10 top tracks uploaded to burn-studios.com during the month that was the most dry since the beginning of the 1900's!

#1. Tom Middleton: Hypnotizer (Biscuit Reality vs Fine Cut Bodies rework) (Yemen / Hungary)

This is when the almighty Cosmos himself, Tom Middleton gets remixed by the notorious Biscuit Reality and the man with chopped limbs, editorial fave of the month, Fine Cut Bodies.  The result is a moody, mellow house tune with some more…
