This is to announce that the Chrysta Bell remix competition has just come to an end as we are writing these sentences... We have received a glorious amount of reworks and there are lots of nice pieces amongst them!

All the submitted tracks will be reviewed by the jury in the next couple of days, so stay tuned and watch this space! Winners will be announced on the 10th of February 2012.

Yet another David Lynch related post, now about a remix done for Zola Jesus. The young singer is not known for letting others to touch her compositions, but it seems she can't resist when her favourite film director is asking! This song, "In Your Nature" - originally put out on her latest album (Conatus) - plus  the highlited David Lynch remix will be released as a separate single on the 21st February.

We have just received this lovely video message from Chrysta Bell herself, wherein she sweetly listens to the incoming remixes for her song, The Truth Is . The competition is still going so feel free to add your own special touch to the original and submit it to Burn Studios! The winner will get an official music video and a relase on Chrysta Bell's remix EP. Sounds fun?

As remixes are constantly flowing into the Burn Studios hive, Chrysta's magical voice is pouring down the walls of our office, filling up the room, and sweetening our coffees.
