Earlier this year, Gomma Records, burn Studios and Peaches made a very important contribution to disco. Taking inspiration from the legendary Casablanca Records catalogue, the Casablanca Reworks EP is modern, unexpected and an irresistibly catchy update of dancefloor classics from the 70s and 80s. Gomma All Stars Telonius, Munk, Moullinex and The Phenomenal Handclap Band each contributed to project, as did the godfather of synth-pop, Harold Faltermeyer. 

On top of that, burn Studios is hosting a remix contest that features TPHCB’s rendition of ‘Walk the Night’ and is giving away 500 free downloads of each track from the Casablanca Reworks EP.

First track up for grabs is ‘Maniac’ by Moullinex and Peaches; a song immortalised by Flashdance and a remix that proves it really is possible to be hotter than Jennifer Beals. Want in?
