  Switzerland When Mario Ferrini stands on the stage, he conveys to the audience positive energy through his unique music selection and sensitive spinning technique. It all begun in his early teenage years, when he discovered his passion for music in 1994 and started his musical career as a DJ under the artist’s name "Armando Gomez". Several national and international gigs followed soon after. A few years later he seized the opportunity to work as a promoter, editor and host with a local radio station, in order to gather further experience and make contacts in the music business. This inspired him to develop a concept for his own international radio show, which he produced successfully during the following two years. Later after this enriching and challenging experience, he went back to the studio to produce his first vinyl “My Latin Woman” together with the producer duo Sueno Soul from the UK. This production was released on the well-known label Poji Records USA. By 2006, Mario Ferrini chose to run yet another musical path together with Stephan Probst and Michele Del Greco with the project "Terra Mia". From this collaboration originated a remix for Steven Stone (feat. Sibylle) named "Don't Get Confused", released on Soulfunk Digital UK. Only a year later, he set up his own music label “Ferrini Records” and subsequently launched the label night series „It’s All About Music“ in the Cafe del Mar in Basel. During these exclusive party nights Mario Ferrini provided the perfect mix of classics, seldom played tracks as well as the hottest new house mixes. Accompanied by live musicians and a singer, he set the dance floor on fire with live improvisations. By the beginning of 2008 Mario Ferrini released his first EP called Soulento EP on the American label Next Dimension Music. By summer of the same year, he was booked for a live DJ-set on the Swiss memorabilia tour of the UEFA EURO 2008 powered by the shopping center Manor. Only a few months later the first single „Morning Breeze“ feat. Jim C. was released on Ferrini Records and catapulted itself to be the title song for the beauty pageant Miss & Mister Nordwestschweiz 2009. During autumn of that year, Mario Ferrini found the way back to the radio by producing and realizing the weekly electronic music show called „Release“ on Radio X FM 94.5. By the end of spring 2010 Mario Ferrini presented together with the Swiss funk band „The Monotones“ the album „21st Century Funk“ and thereby showed the diversity in his productions reaching from funk to house. In the following months he presented further releases in cooperation with Imblosion, Anna Rossinelli and Terra Mia. 2010 brought a further highlight with the release and presentation of the compilation made for the 13th anniversary of the iconic Lounge „4. Akt“ in Zürich. As resident Dj of this mythical hotspot Mario Ferrini mixed several tracks from famous Djs and producers such as Jamie Lewis, Louie Vega, Hanna Hais, Jay Sinister only to name a few. On this compilation he also launched his single and catchy tune „My eyes“ feat. Anna Rossinelli. Soon after the next gig at the world famous electronic music event “Streetparade” followed. Mario Ferrini rocked the XXL‐Loveboat and ensured a steaming hot atmosphere on the Zürich lake with his deep electronic vibes. This event also brought along an artistic first encounter with the specially flown-in Indonesian She-Dj Milinka Radisic. As there instantly was a good feeling between the two artists, Milinka Radisic’s single „No Time For This!“ was released on Ferrini Records a few weeks later. By the end of the year 2010, Mario Ferrini started a new project and cooperation with the Balkan star Valton. Of this collaboration emanated the hit single „Did You Know“, which held itself for 4 weeks on the music channel VIVA Switzerland and was selected to be the official title song of the beauty pageant Miss & Mister Nordwestschweiz 2011. The first months of 2011 brought along several bookings in different Swiss clubs as well as the ongoing residency at “4. Akt”. In February Mario Ferrini had the pleasure to spin once again together with his friend and Grammy award winner Louie Vega from Masters at Work and Vega Records. This exceptional event was a big success with a sold-out club and guests coming from all over Switzerland. The year 2011 began with great style and will bring yet more exceptional projects which are waiting in the pipeline…. During these years Mario Ferrini has been spinning and entertaining party crowds all over the world: Ministry of Sound in London, Winter Music Conference at Delano Hotel and Clevelander Hotel in Miami, Zlaty Strom Club in Prague, Supperclub in Amsterdam, Carnaby Club in Rimini, Baia Imperiale in Riccione, Dom im Berg in Graz, Lake Parade in Geneva, Mango Club in Kempten, Kempinsky Hotel in Frankfurt…and there will be a lot more to come!
